Growth Voucher is a government initiative, backed by Lord Young that has given £30 million worth of SMEs a voucher, each worth £2,000 to spend on business support and advice. I am proud to have been a spokesperson for the scheme, and want to share the success that Growth Vouchers has achieved.

In just the last month alone, Growth Vouchers has seen 5,594 applications from small businesses, looking to get their hands on a growth voucher before the 31st March (when applications for this initiative closed). Businesses however, do have until the 30th June to redeem their voucher.

The scheme that had £30M of funding to give away, has helped over 10,000 companies who wouldn’t necessarily have the resources to pay for the strategic advice needed to grow their business.

Because of the work that I have personally done with many small businesses, through this initiative, I was given the title of one of the top 10 business advisors for 2015.

Even though the Growth Vouchers initiative has come to an end, there is still another scheme that small businesses can take advantage of.

Growth Accelerator (otherwise known as “Business Growth Service”) has given £200 million to a private enterprise to invest money into businesses that want sustainable growth. As a business growth coach, I work with high-growth potential SME’s (small to medium enterprises) to give them the knowledge and support they need in sales, marketing and technology. To see if you are eligible for this scheme, see the requirements here.
