10 Must-Ask Questions to Supercharge Your Digital Leadership

Asking questions is the best way to keep up with what is going on in your community and to stamp your digital leadership online. When you ask a question, the answer you receive becomes the starting point of building a meaningful conversation and relationship with your audience which could turn into a purchase. Here are 10 must-ask questions to supercharge your digital leadership.

1. What’s going well in your role?

This is the best place to start when conversing with your audience. This gives your community the chance to share and celebrate their achievements in a positive way. Small things may be overlooked in everyday life but giving your audience the chance to answer this questions shows that you care.

2. What challenges are you facing?

This is all about offering a helping hand. Your audience will have daily frustrations around their business and this is a great way to let them share their problems. The best way to overcome problems is to admit that you’re stuck and allow someone in a digital leadership position to help out.

3. What could YOU be doing to make your business more successful?

You may find you’re asking yourself this question everyday and not get an answer. Sometimes it’s as simple as better time management or even hiring the right person to help you out in your business but this questions gives you the chance to build engagement and move forward, successfully in your business.

4. How are YOU feeling?

Asking an employee how they are feeling is so important. Happiness in the workplace will ultimately deliver results. Validating your employees is very important because without their dedication, your business won’t succeed.

Your best critics are the people you work with and the people who buy your product so first, ask for feedback within your company to see where they would improve your business. You may not agree at the end of the day, but this feedback is crucial.

This is a great question to ask the people you work with to not only build trust but also show that you care about their life. It may not be something personal, but it is a great approach to build a long lasting relationship.

Like question 6, you are asking for support from your team which they will love because you are making them feel important. This question will show your vulnerability which your employees will love and you will also earn more respect within the workplace.

9.  What were some great contributions made by other team members?

Sitting down once a week with your team, asking them to share something that one of them may have done that was impressive, is a great way to boost workplace morale. Allow your employees to compliment each other because a happy workplace, is a healthy workplace.

10. How can I be a better leader?

Be prepared when you ask this question. You may not like everything you hear but feedback from any of your employees is important and you do need to take this on board as a digital leader.
