Group-Buy deal aggregator, LocalOfferLounge has rebranded as DealRadar, offering local social commerce deal feeds (email, Twitter, Facebook or RSS) that are consolidated from the myriad of group-buy sites appearing across the web.

Operating in US, Canada and UK, DealRadar is the first transatlantic social commerce aggregator (opportunity to work with airport retailers?), running on the if-you-can’t-beat-’em-aggregate-’em ticket, and competing with Yipit and DailyFlock. It offers a simple, clean, no-nonsense, google search results-like interface – displaying external links to live daily deals by city.  Like DailyFlock, you don’t yet seem to be able to personalize your feed by product or service category (Yipit offers this).

We think a BIG opportunity for DealRadar / Yipit / DailyFlock-style social commerce aggregators is to cast the net wider and add in notifications from the plethora of online Private Sale Clubs (Gilt, Ideeli, Hautelook) also clogging up inboxes (several Private/Flash sale aggregators already exist in France – birthplace of the concept (LesVentesPriveesLeJournalDesVentesPrivees).

Then all one would have to do is take this new combined ‘Live Sales Event’ feed and progressively mix in;

1) the increasing number of Deal Feeds on Twitter (& Foursquare)

2) the ability to see/share the deal-feed profiles of/with friends, and

3) true personalization (location, category, brand)

The result would be a true Pandora for social commerce.

One deal feed to conquer them all!

Now there’s a thought…
